At Chickadee School, our goal is to support your whole family. We give parents peace of mind, knowing that their child is with an attuned caregiver. We nurture your child's social, emotional, physical and cognitive development, following Missouri's Early Learning Standards. Please contact us to see what we can do for your family.
Childcare Programs
We provide full and part time childcare for children 6 weeks to 6 years old. We care for up to six children at a time, and only up to three children under the age of two.
Infant Care
Chickadee has space for up to three infants under the age of two. Developing a secure attachment with your child is our most important work. As we help your child safely explore and discover the world around them, we attune to your child's needs and make Chickadee feel like their second home.
Toddler & Preschool Care
Chickadee is a safe haven where your toddler or preschool aged child receives the attention that they need to support their individual development. We limit enrollment to three children ages 2-5. Chickadee follows Missouri's Early Learning Standards to support your child's physical, social, emotional, learning, and artistic development. We want every Chickadee to be kindergarten ready when they leave our nest.
Our Story Unveiled
Hi, I'm Maddy, Chickadee's founder and care provider. I have a BS in Elementary Education and minors in Spanish Dual Immersion Teaching and Family Life from Brigham Young University. I also have an MBA from Southern Utah University. I am thrilled to use all of my education to bring my dream of providing high quality childcare to life. I was raised in a family of seven kids, which is where my love for families and children began. Supporting parents and families in my community is one of my greatest goals and motivators.
My goals with Chickadee School are to make your life easier as a parent and to provide you peace of mind. Chickadee is a birth to kindergarten program, where I support your child's development at each phase. Every little Chickadee will leave ready to take on Kindergarten.
While play and learning are incredibly important, I believe that the relationship between caregiver and child is the most important part of my work. I connect with and care for your child with the same dedication I give my own daughter.
